Thanks, welcome to the site. I am using a scanner which everybody loves on this forum :) I understand the pic is not clear enough but everyone's feedback is helpful.

I still feel the scanner should have output and resolution settings that could make these pictures larger and somewhat clearer.
What you have has both a low DPI and small external dimensions. I know that LCR has a size limit, but at 19kb, it is hard to imagine much clarity being possible. If there's an advanced menu, it should have a maximum DPI setting (at least 1000), a marquee tool to select part of the viewing area so you just scan pasrt of the coin, and output settings in percentages. If you had a 400KB image in Photobucket it might just be big enough to check the RPM...

Thanks,my scanner goes to 1200 dpi, but I blow it up with faststone. THat's probably where I'm loosing it. I will invest the time in trying to figure the scanner out. I took about an hour of pics with the digital camera on macro mode and document settings. I just can't get clarity.
