2008P New Mexico State Quarter- DDR?

Found this New Mexico state quarter roll searching.

Is this a die clash, die gouge, die chip or possibly a new DDR?

*I have a 2008P New Mexico State 25C 1 DDR -001 (CONECA) and this coin is not it.

I just got an answer from Mr. Wiles- this is indeed a DDR and its a new one for the New Mexico State Quarter!

He has assigned it as 2008P DDR-003 3R VIII Stage A, EDS.

I lean towards it being a doubled die since I have seen similar instances in the New Mexico dies.

I sent pics of this to Mr Wiles over the week-end

I got an response today- he said it does indeed look like a DDR and requested to see the coin for a closer look and attribution.

I'll be sending it to him tomorrow. Post results after that.

Maybe I did find a new DDR for the New Mexico State Quarter!
