I figure I'll go ahead and post all my '72 DDOs (that I have not already posted previously) this week.
Here is die #7. When I first got it I thought maybe it was a (stage a), as there was the remnants of the die gouge on the lips. After gaining some clarity and needed distance, I see that the die flow lines preclude any possibility of this being EDS and it is more likely LDS. It is probably MS61-62.
The doubling is more obvious than dies 5, 6 and (I am guessing) die 4. I would imagine this die is in part hard to find as a little die wear on top of mushy doubling would conceal it from many. The die markers, at least on my coin, are not obvious at all.
