I received a wonderful surprise from Roger and Heide yesterday. An envelope with three different circulated wheat cents. I hope I have the attributions correct.
First is the 1954S Class 2 doubled die. Note the separation on the letters I have chosen to highlight, even though I could not get a picture.
The markers of circular die scratches are mostly worn away except some remain above the head near and behind IGWT.
There is also a large die chip in the 4 of the date, and I can see a very light die break on the shoulder to the rim.
This is a beautiful rosy copper colored coin with a nice sharp rim and very nice detail.
Thank you for checking.
Special thank you to Roger and Heide!!
Jean
