Machine Doubling

Does Machine Doubling generally appear from east to west or can it occur in any direction? I don't have a pic right now, but I have a 1936 cent that has a pretty significant spread to the northeast on TRUST in the motto. If it's possible in any direction, I guess I won't need to post a pic but if not I'll try to get one in the next day or so.

By the way, I have another 5000 count bag of 1930's cents on the way so hopefully I'll be blowing up this forum with some great pics. I still have to finish my current bag, I'm basically separating them by year and haven't looked for RPM's yet, but as always I check every single 1936 coin for DD's. So far I have pulled out 6 1936 DD's, 1 DDO-I, 2 DDO-II's, 2 DDO-III's and 1 DDO-VI (paired with the DDR-VII) Not bad considering 6 coins paid for the 5000 coins and I'm still looking!

I got it used awhile ago for $200 it does 10x and 30x. At 10x the lincoln center looks like a huge plate and completely fills perfectly the field of vision.
