I just sold a 1972 DDO-8 (Clearly Marked Clarified as DDO-8-O-I) for $52.. I thought it was good..:)

I watched that sale. I would have valued that coin as $20, but 1972 ddo prices are unpredictable. Yours was very bold, maybe that is why it went so high. Just hope that the buyer doesn't send it back because they thought they were getting ddo 1. A lot of people do not know that there are multiple types of 1972 doubled dies.

Well it was pretty clear in the auction which DDO it was..:)
