1970D LMC- Valid Error or Altered Coin?

What happened on this 1970D LMC.

The obverse has columns from the reverse on it .

I can't tell if its completely pressed into the obverse or it has some layers to it in places.

Is this a valid error or just someone screwing around with a coin again?

This looks to be glue or something of that sort that has had another coin pressed into it leaving the image you see. This would not be a valid error, but would be considered PMD

You are right.
It is glue. I got an answer from the CCF forum also confirming it.

I just took a piece of it off the coin with a flat edge screw driver.

These coins with adhesive doubling (what I call it) stump a lot of people at first...
