Finished searching the 1941's last night and pulled my 3rd and final DDO die #2 from the batch. One short of Colleen's pull of 4 from her batch of wheats.
The coin is really worn but I'll take it and be glad about it.
I still have a lot of 1940-1949's to look thru but somehow the motivation is just not the same. After finding the 1941 Die #2's, Doubled eyelids just don't have the same appeal.
Oh well, I'll finish up this decade and move on to the 50's.
1955 Die #2 watch out. here I come.
Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas everyone.

Rock,
When you were searching the 1941s, did you look for the Full T over Broken T varieties on the last T of TRUST?? There are 22 different ones listed on coppercoins.

Not too diligently. I started to watch for them, but kept running into what looked more like wear or pmd and couldn't really tell the difference. I plan to go back thru them and put them under the scope for a closer look. I went thru about 500 of the 1941's so there must be a broken T or 2 in the lot.

U Rock, and I am sure you never heard that before...but great finds Rock seriously...it has been about three years since my last 41 DDO popped into the scope.
