I think I am fine tuning my Class VI DDO eye. I think this is another one. 1935P-1DO-002. Can't find the die markers though. You would think the marker under the Coat near the rim would be pretty noticeable but I can't find it if it's there. What do you all think: Did I find another Class VI DDO? And if I did is it a 1935P-1DO-002?

I like class VI doubled dies myself, but you have to be careful when attributing them on worn dies or on coins with a lot of wear and tear. The devices tend to spread or flatten with wear sometimes giving the appearance of a class VI doubled die. I'm not sure that your coin is the DDO-002. I'm thinking the 9 and the 3 should show a little more thickness. LIBERTY shows the typical bend to the west but not a lot. there are a lot of normal dies that have a slight bend in LIBERTY. I guess you'll have to wait for one of the pros to chime in, but my guess is that it might not be the 002 based on what I see.

I think Rock has clearly articulated issues about wear on the coin sometimes looking like a class VI DDs and the need to check markers when attributing them. Well said!
