I first want to say thank you to everyone here for all your help! Everyone is always eager to help me. Thank you all very much! That's what makes this forum so awesome!

Ok I have another one I need help with. Again I can't find the die markers I'm looking for on this one. I think it's either 1941P-1DO-007 or 1941P-1DO-033. I'm leaning towards #33. This difference is that #33 has class 2 doubling also. I think I'm seeing that in the E of "WE". What does everyone think? Do you see class 2 doubling as well as the class 6?

In my opinion you do have a moderate class VI DDO. I'm not seeing anything to indicate it being a class 2 though for the -033. I didn't see the small die crack on the 9 of the date which is a clear marker for the -007 and I don't think there is enough thickness on the date for the -009. Unfortunately there are a lot of class VI DDO's from the 30's and into the 40's that have gone unattributed because of different reasons. Too light or moderate or to much wear to be able to pick out clear markers. A lot of us have quite a few unattributed Class VI DDO's for these very reasons. On the other hand, maybe Bob could take a look and make a call on it. He's much more qualified than I ever would be.

I agree with Rock; both his analysis and suggestions. No doubt it is a nice Class VI DDO.

I'll add that class VI Doubled Dies are hard to attribute by photos unless there are ones of specific markers that match references. I think the criteria for attribution with circulated Class VI DDOs and DDRs lies in observable markers being present, whether they match a known reference or not, as one needs markers to photograph to add that coin to the files.

Thanks Rock and Jason. If it were a Denver or San Fran mint we could use the MM location to help but since it's a Philly... oh well. Thanks guys!
