The new Cherrypicker's Guide will certainly list some new varieties. If you could add one coin which would it be? If you could remove one coin which would it be?

Before you answer, You cannot say FS-01-1956D-511 (1956 D/S WDMM 1) , FS-01-2004-801 (2004 DDR 1), FS-01-2006-101 (2006 DDO 4), FS-01-1982-801 (1982 DDR 1), FS-01-1998-901 (1998 Wide AM), FS-01-1999-901 (1999 Wide AM), or FS-01-2000-901 (2000 Wide AM) because we can assume that they will be added.

Also, you cannot say the 1988 P or D RDV-006. We already know that most of you want this one added. :D

Darn, you disqualified my first choice.

You also need to take one out....

That's easier...FS-034.1 (1980-d OMM#1) debunked.

When is this "New" Cherrypicker's Guide be out?

Maybe JT and the guys contributing would publish a truly new volume. Not stickin in old pictures over and over from volume to volume. Old bunk, new bunk or DeBunked..Don't rehash the old stuff.

Publish NEW varieties a new Volume. How refreshing would that be.

That is very easy for me to answer; ADD - any major trail or wavy step die. DELETE - FS-25-1996P-701.

Hi,

I would add 1972 S DDO. It's a business strike. Only 2 known, at this point.

Numbers are Potter: VCR#1/DDO#1 or Wexler WDDO-006

Also, a few more of the 1983 DDO die varieties. I think there are 7 of them now.

Thanks,
Bill

I'd agree foundinrolls...
The 1972 S DDO would be a good one to include..

I sorta have an interest in the 72 S:-) I discovered that one as well as other new varieties on cents of the 1980s era. I'd love to see the ones I've discovered added:-)

The 72 S was added to Strike it Rich with Pocket Change by Brian Allen and Ken Potter and I would really get a kick out of it being in the CPG :-)

Thanks,Bill

In a box of 5000, I only find about 5 "S" mintmarks.

Nice coin Bill and thanks for posting the pics !

and for the benefit of LC Forum members....

The coin pictured here is the exact coin pictured in Billy Crawford's book " Detailed Analysis of Lincoln Cent Varieties Vol1 ". A great book, and a great addition to a LC variety hunter's library.
