Greetings. I was flipping through some rolls of '57-D, when I came across the coin in the first attached photo (1957-D-3). As of now, I am assuming die damage, but I am not entirely certain.
I also found RPMs-001, -004 & -005 in the roll, as well as two that I had trouble with. The second and third photos look to me like -014 and -030 per Coppercoins. Your thoughts?

I think the 1st one is too damaged to make an attribution possible. I don't thinkt he second coin is -014. The spread on your coin is different than the -014 shown on coppercoins. Plus your coin does not have a lower split serif like -014. The third coin does look close to -030, but I think the MM position might be just a bit off. Could it be -016 on coppercoins? Just my opinions. Nice finds though!

I looked at the -016, but found that it is extremely similar to the -024. In fact, there is even an attribute photo that is nearly the same for the reverse.
If you don't think the 2nd one is a -014, which one would you recommend?

I'll look at that third coin a little more. You might find a couple that are similar to it, and the only way to tell them apart is through the markers (assuming you can still see them). If you can't see the markers, it will be hard to attribute if not impossible. And, it could even be a new one.
As for the second coin, I don't think coppercoins has a match for it. So, it would probably be a new one for the site as long as Bob or BJ think it is listable.

Unfortunately, that coin has a little too much damage to make a proper attribution, and/or list it if it were a new one. A nicer copy of that coin would be listable.

Bob, what are your thoughts on the other two attributions?

The one you think is RPM- 014 is actually RPM-010. This RPM changes with die wear as there is also another repunching to the north of which a tiny portion can be seen on your photo. Take a look at the LDS specimen on coppercoins and you can see a pretty much perfect match for your coin. The one you think might be RPM-030 is a possibility, but there is just a bit too much damage to tell for sure. Of course, as the others have mentioned, the first one is damage.
