Here is another coin I found in a roll tonight. It clearly looks to me like the image of the memorial (parts of it) have been struck on the front of the coin. What do you think?

Nice obv. die clash, did you check the reverse to see if Lincoln's head is imprinted also? I posted one a few days ago in this forum if you want to check it out

It looks to me like some of Lincoln's image got on the reverse, although not as much as the reverse did on the obverse. I have circled what looks to me like those areas.
Looks like a die clash to me.

This one sure looks like a squeese job to me. Stack a few cents together and hit them with a hammer. Normally on a clash you should see the majority of the design in the field and not so much on the devices. This one is just opposite that. Just my thought.

Another thought. Looking at the rim it even appears moreso that this is post mint damage due to the rim appearing to have some of the lettering smashed into it.
I've been wrong before though:tinysmile_hmm_t2:
It sure looks like a rotated die clash actually. The letters in the rim maybe even an offset rotated die clash?
As Car10 will tell you die clashes are fairly common for those late years.

I found this coin tonight and wonder what ya'll think of this. It looks as if the face has been struck twice and parts of the hair ended up on the face. What do you think?

It's hard to tell but I'm sorry to say that to me it appears to be post-mint damage.

Hey David,
The picture does not do it justice. I will see if I can't get a more clear picture. If it is some kind of post mint damage, it is confined to the face and no where else on the coin. I will try to get a better picture. Thanks

I think this is a little better image. Prehaps this will make it easier to decided.

The first cent, the one with the Memorial on the front, is not an error. Another cent was pressed into it. The second cent shows post-strike damage.
