Here's a nice 95-D DDo up for grabs... interesting to see how much it'll sell for.
Wish i had the funds, or i'd snatch it up...

It will go for at least $600 if not over $800 (or more).
More than I'm spending right now...

This particular specimen looks shaky for a Red; the color appears to be changing in the slab. It may be why the seller is disposing of it; of course the hundreds of dollars are nice too. But look at the fields to the left and right of the bust, and to the south of the memorial. Either the photos are of extremely poor quality (which I doubt) or the coin has turned significantly. There is also a significant spot next to Mr. Lincolns forehead which could be an old water spot or? The coin also exhibits severe die polishing characteristics. I looked this coin up on coppercoins.com and neither the EDS nor MDS specimen exhibits these polishing lines. This makes me wonder if this may be a later die state specimen. It is also difficult to see the doubling or the characteristics necessary to make a sound judgment as to die state or grade. It seems the plating on this specimen is of poor quality too. I know this has been a problem in earlier years but if this coin has poor plating, it will not be long before moisture will take its toll on the zinc core. The reverse seems okay, but again the color below the memorial is shaky. I would not pay more than $250 for it. But as Jason says, it will probably go for much more than that. People panic during these auctions and a PCGS coin (for whatever fantastical reason) does have a certain cachet. The fact remains a coin is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and that’s my two cents.

A PCGS MS66 on eBay sold recently for almost $1,300. This example doesn't look all that good in the photo, maybe it will keep the price down...
