1942-S help RPM?

I have been trying to match this to known varieties for 2 days with no luck. Is it not an RPM...sure looks like one to me. Thanks for any help you can give.

With a new picture and angle and lighting....it looks like possible pmd. The lower serif lines up with the damaged tail of the nine. I still think there may also be an RPM here , but not sure.

From the second photo it does appear to be PMD. May have taken a hit.

I agree, the new pic does look PMD...
