After 2 months of waiting, I finally got my coins back from ANACS. I'm really happy with their grades. I thought I would share them:

Nice bunch. Did you find them or buy them?
Two months, that's tooo long. I wouldn't be able to wait that long without being medicated.
I bought all of them except the 1924 D. That one my Grandfather gave me from his collection. I would rather pay less, and wait longer. Two months is a long time though. I have more coins to send in, but I'm not sure which service to use. It irritates me that NGC does not certify some common varieties like the 1943 DDO 1 and 1956 D/D rpm 16. Plus, I hate the Variety Plus program. PCGS charges a $20 variety verifcation fee.

I hear ya. What really fried mine was the $24 flat fee just for shipping for one coin from ICG. Robbery.

Nice coins. How much are the submission fees on each coin on the lowest tier? What is the average turnaround time?

very nice Lincolns
- its too bad that PCGS wants to charge that high rate for the variety service- i've asked NGC before if they would add a variety and they said "no" even tho its in the Cherrypickers guide
has anyone ever ask NGC if they would add the 1988 RDV-006 to the variety list under the Coneca's number listing
question on the 2006 FS-101 if Brads is a Die 4 - then is mine considered Die 1 ???

Yours is die 4 also. They just did not put that on the label. All the 2006 doubled ears are from the same die. Coneca calls it die 4.

Here is a comparison of the economy tiers of each service:
ANACS $12, 1-2 months, $5 variety varification
NGC $16, 1 month, $7 variety varification
ICG $15, 1 month, $5 variety varification
PCGS $18, 1 month, $20 variety varification
ANACS no fee to join
NGC fee for joining $99 (5 free submissions) or join ANA $35
ICG fee for joining $15 (credit toward first purchase)
PCGS fee for joining $50, $100, or $200
Each has a modern coin specials:
ANACS $10 1964-pres.
NGC $12.50 1955-pres.
ICG $12 1970-pres.
PCGS $14 1965-pres.
Each has other tiers, specials, and return shipping rates.

Here is are the Lincoln Cent varieties that they will certify:
PCGS - Only CPG varieties
ICG - CPG varieties, plus other CONECA (I think there is an additional fee of $17 per coin)

Hey Brad, Glad I saw this....
When you send Coins to be listed by Dr Wiles,"CONECA" it costs $4; If you have him send them to ICG the total bill for each coin is $18.00 per coin and that includes the Listing fee. The package will be delivery to you, the buyer/Owner and is $20.00 postage no matter how many coins... I usually do it this way now since ANACS takes so long... Last Package I sent to Dr. Wiles took 3 weeks door to door using ICG.....

Thanks for sharing Eric... the ICG website was unclear about the total fees for the the CONCECA service....it sounds very reasonable!
