Here is my first post pictures taken by microscope and an Iphone through the eyepiece. I hope these everyone will find these acceptable and hope i learn in the process. I have this listed as a FS-01-1972-108. I couldnt place this as a 103 or 108. Any help would be appreciated.

Based on LIBERTY it looks like Die #3 to me. Welcome!

Check the top of the second T in TRUST and see if there is a small die gouge from the top of the T to the rim.

There is no gouge from the top of the 2nd T. Yet the doubling continues through TRUST. Hope that helps

Die 003 would seem to be a good candidate; check coppercoins.com and CONECA for die 003 markers, but die 008 cannot be ruled out due to the absence of gouges above the Ts as they fade into oblivion somewhere between LMDS and LDS. What's weird about the above pics is no die markers being around IGWT or LIBERTY as should be on most stages of 003. Let us know what you find and great DDO find!

This used to drive me nuts- I have a large number of die #3's from circulation that have none of those markers, and it took me a long time to be confident they weren't #8.
