Another coin from my buy. I don't know any thing about South Africa coins. My question is do you think this is MD ?

I have one from the same year. Your coin is a doubled die without a doubt. As to the value of that doubled die you would want to check with an international coin dealer.
My coin has two large die cracks across the face of Elizabeth. Let us research this coin a little more with a view to finding out if there is some value here. Thanks for sharing this. I will go to the latest world coin book to see if any are listed and at what prices.

I have two die cracks also but not on Elizabeth. Here's a couple pics. I have no world book or I don't know of any one that does do World coins.

I borrowed a book from the library on world coins in July but returned it. I now have the US Red Book. I will try to get one at the reference Section tomorrow. Your coin shows a great crack .I will attach two images of my coin which is made of bronze. I will let you know what my search reveals.

Nice coin. Here is a full picture on my coin. It is red in color well at less 90%. I just seen that I have another die crack on the obv.
