Looks to me like distended doubling on the six, but I cant match it up to anything on Copperoins. Any thoughts?

The date looks like a variety of the 3/3. I have the state that still shows the lower tale of the 3. Havn't seen this one

Here are examples of the die stages 1963-D DDO-001 from my collection. On the road at the moment but had these on the NB. (Last year or so I've always been bringing my sub-notebook with me when cherry picking . Its a handy reference tool from which I can use for quick reference and most times make positive IDs and also Know if I have such and such a die stage.)

On my return will photo other die markers and post.

Any way.. you'll see the difference right away on these three 1963-D DDO 1-O-VIIIs

1. EDS 2.MDS 3 LDS (nothing below the main 3)

Yeah. It looks like something inside the three, plus a fat six. I think maybe all 63s might have fat sixes. Anybody else have any thoughts?

I'm usually all wet on this stuff. (Not always though.)

Nice pics Wheat. Unfortunately,I don't think that's what I have (if anything). But I think there might be some slight doubling inside the three and a fat six.

Is that somthing in the top loop of the 3? Like what's in the bottom loop of Wheat's LDS. By the way check this out.
