Talked to several dealers at CSNS about the fairly recent rise in the value of 1922 no D type 3's.
I feel it is in repsonse to demand of Lincoln Keys and simply due to the rise in price of its older sibling and people are "filling holes" using clogged die 22Ds..
As recently as a couple years ago would see nice type 3s at reasonable price considering what it is. Maybe a sign like the 1924-D more people are getting into Lincolns ? or ... more likely ... dealers are building some type/any type of inventory on "keys" in anticipation of collector interest?
Hope it is an indication things are heating up for the hobby. ... ( Of course just at the same time the US economy is not )
