'84 Dime wear or trail?

There are similar lines on some of the other devices (as appear on the torch). There appears to be a clash of something I can't make out to the east of the torch. Any help; thoughts.

From your pictures, the die looks to be older and starting to fatigue. That maybe the cause of the lines that you are seeing.

I do not see any signs of trails.

IMHO it looks like alot of die abrasion and maybe some damage to the die that could not be polished out!!!
