I acquired a fun roll from Wells Fargo yesterday...

The latest coin in the roll was 1974D. There were many from the 60's and there were 3 wheaties.

The best part was... 10 examples of 1973D. The date(s) exhibit a slight amount of thickness, particularly on the "3". However, the LIBERTY appears to be somewhat lumpy. Is this just die deterioration, or something else?

Actually, the more 1973 cents you look at, the more of these you will see. They are pretty common. They almost have the same look of the master die doubling seen on 1972 cents.
