extra thickness, yea or nay

Hi all: I'm not very good on these.

The 8 and 9 look kind of thick at the lower right.

Is this anything, or do I just have a stigmatism?

Opinions please. Thanks.

I must have the same stigmatism... Plus I see a little plate doubling going on!!!

There are many class VI doubled dies listed (and unlisted) by the attributers. They normally affect the date most prominently. However, I'm having trouble seeing any extra thickness on the above coin. If it is, it would have to be very minor.

Class VI will usually be greater toward the rim, thus the out part of the 8 is thicker than the inner part and the last digit (in this case 9) will be thicker than the 9, especially toward the bottom. That said, I am not sure about this one from the photo provided...
