Out of 10 rolls tonight, this is all I found:
Is this a DDO? It's a 1971 P:

Here's a 1959 P. Look at the T in Liberty. The vertical line seems too far to the right:

Your '71 is DDO. I would have to check but off the top of my head it might be Die #3 in my files. Congrats on the find!

Your '59 looks OK to me. I think a contact mark on the right edge of the horizontal bar makes it look that way.

David,
I think it's a coneca 2-O-I.

Based upon info from ARLC book it is not CONECA 2-O-I. There is much more spread on a 2-O-I and in the opposite direction. It is also NOT a CONECA 3-0-I or 4-O-I which are CCW any way (If anyone is interested ...am able to post photos of CONECA 3-O-I , 4-O-I and 5-O-IV)

From the photos submitted the coin appears most like the 1971 CDDO-001. Certainly the direction and the spread are similar. CDDO-002 thru CDDO-005 can be eliminated because either the direction is opposite or of differnt type. However Billy will know best and probably has files going beyond -005.

Brefos77...Might you also get a picture of your 71 DDO LIB area as well as GOD. Those are photo references I have for A CDDO-001 which are skipped in your shots.

I pulled my "C" files and it appears closest to my 1971 1c CDDO-001. All the other DDOs for '71 Lincoln cents in my files are either totally different in appearance or they are shifted in a CCW direction where yours is of a CW rotation.

As far as other applicable cross-references -- I'm not sure.

I have no cross references (Wexler or Coneca) for this one either.

Billy by chance do your files go beyond CDDO-005 for the 1971 Doubled Die?

For the '71 P-Mint DDOs my files go to CDDO-008.

The inside of O in God also points to it being a 1971 CDDO-001. So I'd say it is the CDDO-001.

Other doubling is very worn . The L in LIB has the spread but its doubling is gone.

There are many DDOs like the 1927 LC DDO which can be identified after much wear , however it is much harder to be positive.

Well, my recent eBay experience of trying to sell a 1971 DDO #2 (see http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230232899626&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:IT&ih=013 here) tells me, not much.

I bid $1.00 AgCollector's coin. No offense Brefos, but I would bid less on yours. But that doesn't mean that someone would not bid more. In my experience on Ebay, its all about the pictures.

No offense taken, Brad. I didn't expect much anyway, but it was cool to find one!
