1989 rdv?

Additional Information
Date: 1989
Variety: RDV
Mint: Philadelphia

Aren't these the "FG' initials intended for the 1988 cents? flat and un-flared? Or am I mixed up? Thanks!

No, those are correct for 89, just a little over polished.

FLY,

I just went through this diagnosis a few weeks back. I could swear these were the FG's from 88...but unfortunately It is an over polished die. I believe it has several e to w scratches above the T in cent. I kept the coin just in case.

Ok, thanks. Figured it was better to keep them and be safe than sorry
